They come in zinc, class 3 & 4 galvanised steel, grade 304 stainless steel, grade 316 stainless steel or with a B8 coating that offers twice the corrosion protection of class 4 galvanised steel. Base materials: Typically used to fix to timber, without the need to pre-drill. Features: No need to drill a pilot hole. Designed for drilling into timber. Choose zinc plated steel for indoor use and B8 coated steel for outdoor use or use in highly corrosive environments, such as coastal areas or grade 304 SS, grade 316 SS, or class 3 or 4 galvanised steel.
